what the united nations is now doing. live, the one and only local 10 news starts right now. >> good morning, south florida on this super bowl sunday, i am neki mohan. >> todd: and i am todd tongen. thank you for waking up with us on this sunday and go over to jennifer correa. >> neki: a lot of people thinking chilly weather. >> todd: not a bad idea. >> jennifer: temperatures in the 50s and 60s. low 60s down to the keys. zoom into the lower keys because this band of gusty showers that are tracking quickly toward the southeast. now is about i would say -- almost 8 to 10 miles out away from the lower keys out toward the northwest. and again this band is track out toward the south and east putting this in motion.you can see the loop in motion. you can see that -- yes, they are moving fast. i would say key west you are going to get rain in about the next 15 minutes. but it is a quick moving band; however, gusty with heavy rainfall.

it will move out of the area. once this passes through, you will be feeling the chill. i mean, it is still cool out there. 60 in marathon. where the cold has arrived is definitely across broward and miami-dade. temperatures will r expected to warm newspaper the 60s later on. more on that later, todd. we begin with breaking news out of hollywood where one person is dead after a car and a train collide. local 10 reporter layron livingston is live with details. layron, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. the sun is mixed up -- coming up and mixed in with the debris as a result of this accident. grocery and grocery bags. we are hearing that this man may have been on his way home when this crash happened when he was hit by this train. took crews four hours to clear this scene after the driver of this nissan sedan, a man in his 30s was hit think about passing train. headed east on monroe and police say a witness saw the driver try to go around the crossing arms to beat this train around 1:00 this morning. the lights were flashing. the arms were down. the chimes were ringing and this man was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene and had to be cut from his car. back here live, we are told this was $2,000 feet of train more than two miles long loaded down with cargo headed to hialeah from jacksonville, and inspectors with florida east coast railway. you can see them off in the distance is still here where this happened where the sun comes up at this scene. at last check, working to make knoll notification to this gentleman's next of kin. and as soon as we know who thh man is, we will pass it along to you. layron livingston, local 10 newslayron livingston, local 1 1 news?news.

after a nunn liberty city. police are trying to find the driver possibly. some of the victims ll be in the hospital for days. >> todd: we are hearing emotional concerns from family members urging that person to come forward. we are live at jackson memorial hospital where the victims are recovering. >> reporter: good morning, neki and todd. a horrific hit-and-run accident. the witnesses say they were dragged down the street. four people were taken to jackson memorial hospital behind me. two more remain here inner is news condition. get to you video of the scene. the accident happened early saturday morning right in front of three fingers liquor store along northwest 17th avenue in libertarian city. a group of friends -- liberty city. a group of friends went inside buy liquor, when they came out to their car, a white mercedes suv came speeding down the street plowing into four of the five people. those four victims were rushed here to jackson memorial hospital where they remain -- two of them are in serious condition. the car involved in the crash was found not too far away from the scene on northwest 43rd

after that train hit, that car -- this is where it ended up. you can see on the other endof the track where is all of the gravel with the spray painting from the hollywood police department doing this investigation. that is where that car came to a rest early this morning. [railroad crossing sounds] >> reporter: the tracks along south dixie highway eventually opened back up to train traffic. took crews more tthan four hours to clear the scene after the driver othe nissan sedan, a man in his0s was hit with a passing train. he was heading east on monroe. a witness saw the driver trying to go around the crossing arm to beat this train around 1:00 this morning. the lights were flashing, the arar were down and the man was pronounced dead at the scene and had to be cut from his car. and back live here, you can se some of the debris that police have marked with that orange spray paint on the other side of the track here.

the next thing they knew, they were being dragged down the street. >> she is not doing good. in a lot of pain. >> reporter: a mother speak out after her daughter and four of her friends became victims of a hit-and-run crash in miami's liberty city neighborhood. the crash happened around 3 a.a. saturday when 21-year-old ran brown andher four friends stopped that the liquor store along 19th avenue. they went inside to buy alcohol, and came outside to their car, a white mercede suv came speeding down the street barreling to the group >> the guy came out of nowhere and hit him and flipped in the air. >> reporter: brown and three other friends were rushed to jackson memorial hospital in serious condition. >> has lacerations and -- and bruises all over her body. her chest sore. >> reporter: any broken bones or anything. >> yeah, i think her leg.
